The Fitness Park gym chain has reached a new milestone in Spain with the opening of its 100th club, located in Palma de Mallorca. This opening not only marks a record expansion but also signifies the brand's arrival in the Balearic Islands, completing its presence in 17 autonomous communities. The 1.500-square-meter center features specialized areas for free and guided weight training, cardio, cross-training, and powerlifting, as well as recovery areas.

The company, which entered the Spanish market in 2020, has increased its network of centers by 27% so far in 2026 , growing from 79 clubs at the start of the year to the current 100. This growth has been made possible by an estimated investment of between €42 and €48 million, according to data from Intelligence 2P. Fitness Park has a presence in more than 50 municipalities, and its expansion plan shows no signs of slowing down: it has already announced a new location in Barcelona's Plaça Catalunya, which will open in 2027 and operate 24 hours a day.

Fitness Park Spain's master franchisees, Stéphane Miras and Édouard Texte, emphasized that "reaching 100 clubs reflects the strength of our expansion plan" and that maintaining a demanding standard with each new opening has been a priority. The general management team, comprised of Pedro Gomes and Frédéric Conquet, stated that "this milestone motivates us to continue; we are convinced that Fitness Park still has significant growth potential in Spain." The chain has opened 21 new locations in the first seven months of the year, demonstrating a sustained growth rate.

The new Palma club features top-of-the-line equipment from brands like Technogym, Eleiko, Hammer Strength, gym80, and Nike Strength , and also debuts a BLK BOX cross-training cage. BLK BOX is a British manufacturer specializing in functional training. This recently announced collaboration aims to provide members with spaces designed for high performance. BLK BOX, founded in Belfast in 2012, has worked with Adidas and Manchester United and equips 90% of Premier League clubs.

The partnership with BLK BOX begins with the installation of a larger, modular cross-training cage, designed to expand functional training possibilities . Greg Bradley, founder of BLK BOX, stated that “Fitness Park’s ambition to offer high-performance experiences makes this a natural partnership.” In subsequent phases, more equipment from the British brand will be integrated into other centers within the chain.

To coincide with its centenary, Fitness Park Spain has launched a new version of its mobile app. The app incorporates personalized routines generated by artificial intelligence , adapted to each user's profile (age, fitness level, and goals), as well as weekly training programs and over 250 pieces of content to train with confidence from day one. This tool reinforces the brand's commitment to the member experience beyond the gym itself.

Financial results and future outlook

On the economic front, Fitness Park closed 2025 with a 9% increase in revenue, reaching €461 million . This growth is primarily due to the expansion of its network, which grew to 403 gyms worldwide, a 19% increase over the previous year. Spain accounted for 19,5% of total business, with estimated revenues of €90 million. The chain boasts 1,38 million customers globally, a 16% increase compared to 2023.

The fitness sector in Europe continues to boom, according to Deloitte's European Health & Fitness Market Report 2026. Industry revenue grew 9% year-on-year, membership exceeded 75 million, and the network of facilities reached 65.700. Fitness Park, in addition to France and Spain, has a presence in Portugal and Morocco, and plans to enter Italy after the summer. The company ranks among the top five operators by revenue in Europe, excluding mergers and acquisitions.
